Who am I?
Failed cub scout, atrocious soccer player, terrible cook, fierce artist. I have tried every hobby under the sun, and while the kicking a ball down a field and making a fire with my dad to earn my first survival patch put a smile on my face, I found a career in making art at age 7. There I sat in my grandma’s car on the way home from my first acting class with a local theatre company as I called my mom and said, “They gave us Slim Jims for snack and I pretended to be a dog. I never want to stop doing this.” I never did. I quickly fell in love with acting, singing, dancing, and cultivating performance art in any way I could. Whether I am performing an introspective Sondheim ballad, dancing to The Prom until I can’t feel my feet, lighting a piece of theatre, or putting on a puppet show with first graders, I can’t escape performance.
